It all starts rolling on

Quote:

Warriors fly-half Jono Lance is to join Guinness Pro-14 club Edinburgh for the 2020/21 season.

Lance has made 30 appearances since he joined Warriors, on an initial short-term contract midway through the 2017/18, and scored 82 points, including the match-winning conversion of Jamie Shillcock’s try against Harlequins at The Stoop in November.

He will join Edinburgh when his existing Warriors’ contract expires at the end of the current season and will depart Sixways with the best wishes of Director of Rugby Alan Solomons.

“All here at Sixways wish Jono the very best for his new venture and thank him for his contribution to the Warriors cause,” said Solomons, a former Edinburgh coach.

Sad to see him go but the writing was on the wall when Billy Searle was announced. He is also far too good a player to be sit on the bench week in, week out.

Likewise, sorry to see him go as he bought an alternative style of play which sometimes made a big difference.
Billy, no pressure then!

Billy plays a similar way and is EQP.

Edinburgh have themselves a fine attacking 10.
I wish him all the best, and think that he will do well.
He dug us out of a hole when he arrived.
I am sorry to see him go.
