After a disastrous opening 20 mins where we gifted our opponents 2 tries from a charge down and a missed line out we recovered our composure to run out worthy winners.
If my math's are correct we have finished 2nd in our pool behind Nottingham on points difference but with 21 pts we have qualified as the best placed runner up and get a home quarter final.
It appears that the home quarter finalists are Falcons, Ealing,Nottingham and Pirates the others are Coventry, Scottish, Jersey and Doncaster.
Although it is seeded 1v 8, 2v 7, 3v6 and 4 v 5 games should not be against teams from the same pool which would mean Falcons v Donny and Nottingham v Scottish need to be changed. Look out for a decision next week by the competition committee.

I really enjoyed Saturday's game, reminded me of old times with the storming finish. The second half intensity was the best I have since the Ealing match. Callum Paterson was awesome as was McRae.

If it is too complicated for them to sort outó how about a neutral ground
, say Twickenham.
