No trekking this Sat for the Albion faithful (hurrah!), but here is the transport info for those coming in to Brickfields from within and without of the county.

Train

Not a huge number of options, but plenty of time to sample the hospitality options inside and out of the ground:

PLY 11:30 DPT 11:33
PLY 13:35 DPT 13:38

DPT 18:14 ply 18:18

Bus

Loads more choice on Citybus (Red/White) routes 26/46/34.
Also First Group (Blue/White/Mauve) route 3 (Not 7).

Services depart from stops A1/A2 on Royal Parade. Ask for Cumberland Gardens or Brickfields.

Foot

It's 30-40 mins from City centre or the Station and plenty of watering holes en route.

Taxi

Black or minicab. AA are my regular company on 01752 550777.

Car

For location: Google PL1 4NE for a map.

Brickfields is just off the A374 Cumberland Road.

Tickets

Nothing on PARFC site. Telephone: 0870 350 0402 during the week or pay on the gate.

With our own Darren Ritchie still suffering from the injury he picked up last Saturday Keni is back in the starting lineup!

Tim Matias (use to play for Albion!!) is on the bench and a Devon U20 coach Danny Thomas is also possible for the bench!!

Full House Hawkes retains his place at fly.

Liam is still there on the wing and Jamie Trip' and Ed K are in the second row.

This should be a good match to watch. If Devon continue to score in the same way as the previous 2 matches we will see some more backs tries!

Come along for a fine day out, even if the forcast is for heavy rain!

Always forwards never backwards!

I would just like to make people aware that it is Plymouth's LORD MAYOR DAY on Saturday.
This means that some of the city centre roads are closed from 1300 and diversions will be in place.
Either allow extra time for your journey if going through town, go up the Parkway(A38) avoiding town altogehter or better still, get there early. Bar open from 1200!!!!

Hi to all, A very interesting game with both sides with a lot to gain.

Gloucestershire to there credit were quick out of the block, and took the game to Devon, scoring an early try and con.

Gradually Devon's forwards started to wear down Gloucester.who had a player sin-binned, and the pressure told with a Kyle Marriott try which was unconverted.

A very tactical game, with opportunites being created at each end,but they went begging.

Eventually pressure began to tell, with Devon's Liam Gibson in the bin for not rolling away, a great cross field pass by Dan Hawkes was picked up and clinically finished.

Yet again unconverted, but Devon held on to claim another Twickenham county final.

Well done Devon!!!!!!

I thought that the 8 and 14 for Gloucs could play Nat 1 Standard Rugby.

Agree with above. Patchy performance from Devon. Monster rolling mauls - big, but not clever. But sometimes they REALLY work and that was the decider. Wouldn't want to build a game plan round it. Plenty to build on over the next two weeks. Hopefully, our opponents are no further along the learning curve.
