Play with passion, fire and flair and you'll bring back the spoils.

May the bounce be with you.

Hmmm... 2 x L on the bounce ain't too clever. But at least 4 league points puts a better shine on things. (13th by my reckoning at time of posting.)

Whereas last week we watched Stortford being slow off the bus (- and profited from it), this week we were off sharpish (3 - 5 @ 21 mins) - but then proceeded to get back on for 40-odd mins of game time! Spirited fightback to level things at 29 - 29, but they sneaked it at the whistle; 36 - 29 with 2 x BP each.

Still work to be done in defence, but well done to the lads for keeping it respectable.

Come cheer up, my lads - 'tis to glory we steer!

Match reports now available from both teams

Heartbreaking to come from so far back to draw level, only to lose with the last play of the game.

The site keeps saying about the exciting signings, but hardly any have been used. Might as well let them have a run out. What has happened with the defensive side of things?

16 September, 2019 17:13
Well , they did play the current top of the league team (AWAY) .(Sm78)

Still most worryingly , we are conceding a load of points 78 over 2 games .(Sm145)(Sm145)(Sm145)

Heard from a good source this weekend will be a hard one, apparently Rotherham are looking at top 3 .

A fine recovery in the second half to get so close to at least a draw but it sounds like we were asleep during the first half. The video analysis of the first half should provide the answers but I wonder if the problem was an organisational thing or was the mental approach/headspace of some individuals missing? Defence definitely needs to be the focus of this week's training!
