Team's up:

PARFC Offy

How much reaction to last week's misfiring - or are injuries to blame? Good to see Tom Putt on the sheet, but wasn't Connor kinda making the 15 shirt his own...? And pack a long fuse this week, please JK. Hopefully, it's another overnighter for the team. Cambridge are two slots below us with the same number of wins, but less successful on the BPs. This is not a pressure game in terms of league position, more of getting heads straight and stopping the yo-yo - in the right way.

A certain RWC fixture could steal the boys' thunder, so get clicking on Twitter in the pm, people - it's a 14.00 KO.

Come cheer up, my lads - 'tis to glory we steer!

Cambridge have a match preview

It's a little odd, with more discussion about politics than rugby but there you are.

Whatever happened to our match previews??

I, too, continue to wonder why we don't hear from Ben G. pre-match anymore. It's a curious one. Can anyone offer an explanation?

A good result, a draw away from home is not to be sneezed at.

Agreed. But did we need to give them a 20 point start?

Perhaps we should have given them only a 19 point start.

A howling horizontal gale post to post didn't help. Behind Cambs first half. You did well to keep score to 20 1st half. A couple of silly mistakes, sloppy passes, unecesssry quick tap penslty, did for you. Another 5 mins and you might have nicked it. Overall a fair result given the conditions.

Thanks for that EAE. Nice to have a unbiased report from pitchside.

No match reports yet from eitber club, but here is a report from the Cambridge Independent newspaper.

Fancy! A newspaper actually writing its own match report!

"Harry's Dad" certainly deserves credit for getting good reports written in time for the Independent deadlines - on top of all his post-game Team Manager duties. They get recycled by the 'erald on Mondays. Normally, (he says) PARFC post them that day. Maybe with tonight's Medics v Marines game, folk are a little busy...

Any way here's the home club perspective:

Cambridge RFC

The Twitter feed looked pretty grim on the day, but these reports give a better impression. Connor and Dan Swain definitely hitting form this year.

More work needed though for the visit from relative neighbours Mose (3rd) on Sat...

Was surprised how few Albion supporters were there. A few more could have seen you guys over the line.

The weather in Devon was atrocious and I imagine that many would have been put off by that (or by building a big wooden boat and leading animals on two by two - at least those animals not blown away with the gale).

I think Cambridge didn't suffer quite as badly.
