What’s happened to Pierre Thompson? He was named at 15 last week but didn’t feature at all.

Hoping for a couple of points, but I think we would settle for one.

Brilliant and unexpected win today. Glad the lads believed in themselves. A 5 pointer away, maybe the start of our climb back up the table.

Just back from Richo where Herbie looked to be top dog on the touchline.

Overall, similar to Chinnor last week - but less of an 80 min grind. Xmas didn't exactly come early for Albion; more like Black Saturday came out of nowhere for Richmond. They're a big outfit all round and not short of mobility. Dunno why (or care, to be honest), but they're not firing on all eight over a full game of late. And although the scoreboard didn't show it at HT (22-7), we had actually taken a lot out of them.

Once the 4T BP was in the bag (27-7), our hosts appeared to take their foot off the gas (-or let the brain clutch slip) a bit. We had given them a very kick-able pen in front of the posts. They elected to go for touch, but fluffed it and hardly advanced.

Then the Albion comeback started... First "Father" Salts, then Joe Snow. Josh's first try was an absolute stormer - straight down Route 1 to the posts like an express train! As the clock wound down, Alex Ducker made a great run down the near touchline to put him in for the final nail in the coffin. (Sir appeared to be milking it for dramatic effect, but eventually walked into the corner before signalling/blowing/awarding.) The 50-odd away contingent went ape! And the ensuing silence was deafening... Followed by The Oggie Song in the bar with a final pint.

Massive show of character and grit to steal a five pointer when "nul points" was staring us in the face. Top job, lads! Still tight as a shark's a**e in mid table (those hard-won points "only" take us to 11th), but that's a huge line in the sand ahead of Rams (A) in two weeks time. Can we do it...?

PS. Anyone remember the last team to beat Richmond (at home) on their way to the Champ (by a single point)? Good night.

Come cheer up, my lads - 'tis to glory we steer!
