The first team have only played once in six weeks, perhaps that explains the continuity from last weekend. A lot of our combinations are still relatively new and finding their feet: Slade-Ikitau / Jenkins-Zambonin / half-backs . . .

I think some continuity, confidence building and momentum makes sense at the moment.

The PRC is a different deal and I think the next block in that comp is where the rotation should happen wholesale. It will also happen naturally through injury.

Dweba should be able to help with some of the pre match analysis, particularly with regard to the set piece.

Im not familiar with many of Cheetahs players but the South African clubs often don't travel well.

So I reckon Chiefs 42 Cheetahs 17.

I too was surprised we haven't rotated more, maybe we will in the next round.

As none of us really know the strength, or not, of the Cheetahs, my prediction is pure guess work. Chiefs 42 Cheetahs 17.

Some of the scores in this block of euro fixtures are surprising, it's obvious some teams are not placing Europe in a high priority! Makes the early stages a bit of a farce!

[quote Annoying Chiefs Fan at Away Games]Why are the cheetahs in this competition? They are months after the end of their season and haven’t played since September. Not involved in any European based leagues. Surely the competition and rugby in general would benefit more from an additional European team

plus one

Likewise surprised that we are going full bore but I guess a good home win to start the campaign is the aim. Cheetahs likely to be a bit undercooked?

Given that a lot of people want our premiership league to go up to 14 teams with 8 extra games, are we now saying that 18 games in the league is too many to play the first team in Europe. Why would we not want to get as many home games in Europe has we can? Cheetahs will be stronger then must Welsh teams.

The fact that we are not selling out the ground shows that there is not extra cash in Devon among fans for 4 extra prem games. Better to sell out 9 home games then more half full games

As the European Challenge Cup is the only major trophy that we have never won, I kinda do want us to go all out this season to complete the set!!

I think we'll see some rotation in the away fixtures against both Paris clubs.

Know aboslutely nothing about our opponents today, so a completely uneducated guess at
Chiefs 32 Cheetahs 17

Not just that, on current form it is winnable and a trophy would be nice.
