How much money if any does the prem final generate for the two clubs competing in it?

None.

Scuse intrusion - but thought I'd add the rather crazy fact that it actually COSTS the clubs to compete in finals. It gets particularly expensive for overseas games in Europe when they have to add in accommodation, food and transport for the players and support staff. For example yesterday - all the money generated from hospitality goes to Twickenham.

Amazing game yesterday - you guys were wonderful, on and off the pitch.

And did anyone notice all the beer mugs abandoned because the of the huge queue's at the painfully inadequate redemption kiosks? Nice little extra cash! Twickers /RFU in financial trouble doing anything to get more dosh.

There was a large receptacle near the main gate where you could deposit your 'fan cup' for a donation to charity. I'd like to think that's what would have happened in respect of the abandoned ones too. Who knows?

Is the RFU gin kitty a charity?

Maybe no actual cash for the club but great for our sponsors with that huge worldwide audience. This must boost our sponsorship income in the long term, not to mention the opportunity for our players.
