Well tonight's game was an interesting watch unless you were supporting Bath....
Bristol have strengthened their squad from last season and look a really strong side on tonight's evidence.
They were pretty good last season so if Nathan Hughes stays fit and out of England reckoning for the season he could make the difference in stepping up for them.
They are good to watch as well.
Bath were dire to be honest, and still don't look to have the strength in depth when they have their England players away.
Not sure how much of tonight was Bristol very good or Bath very bad, probably somewhere in between?
Rhys Priestland looks like he has completely lost his way

Not sure you can read anything into that game. The teams are in different places development wise.
Baths coaching team have a steep learning curve, and Bath were not full strength, it was probably the best team Bristol can field.
I can see Bath doing the reverse at home.

Bristol new boys and Pilatau looked good but injuries throughout the season will hurt them! Bath were poor but missing half a dozen world class players to the RWC and Mercer operating on one leg, plus down to 13 men through a yellow card and an injury when the bench was empty did not truly reflect this team.
