Wasps Offy

Mentioned in the transfer rumours thread, but worthy of its own post.

Good news and contradicts rumour about him going to Sale on Eggchasers podcast (hello JB and/or Tim).

Through good times and tough times we can always rely on this man. He epitomises everything that is good about the club.

This is great news. A world class lock. Our forward options this year really are very good.

He is a role model for the younger players. They will mature under his leadership. Good news week with Jacob putting pen to paper as well. We do not have anywhere near as many up for renewal this season, compared to last.

Thomas has a decision to make. Imo I don't think he's near the Wales squad currently so it's whether he wants to stick around with us.

Phew. Great news. Wonder if he had an offer from Saracens?!

Thomas - I would be very surprised if he considered other offers. He is honest enough to value the support he receives when he was injured.

Who'd have thought a couple of seasons ago Wade would have tried his hand at NFL (absolute career suicide from what I've heard) and Daly would have been tempted by a briefcase full of cash. This is what makes Joe a special player. I'm sure Chiefs would have tempted him to move home and be closer to family but as he said he loves the club.

He probably was offered something by Sarries but the free house is no longer on the table (who wants to live in Barnet anyway) and the coffee shop business has been sown up by briefcase.

Clearly, moving for less money is not as attractive as it once was.
