Bears match thread
kentwasp1 10 October, 2020 09:55
Ok I have an hour to kill sitting on the beach at Hove as my lad has his cricket trial
Watching some hardly souls swimming
Unbearably excited. Proudly wearing my Wasps top and lucky holey Wasps socks
Days like this I thought were beyond us but here we are!
So looking forward to this one. What a horrible shame the Ricoh canít be pumped up with 32,000 screaming Wasps and Bears
See you later

Game days like these deserve full stadia and there is no doubt this would of been one of those occasions. However rugby can have no better advert then what we may well see today. I simply cannot wait....I am also unbelievably nervous! Come on boys!!! (Sm128)

Bris supporter in peace.

Go well Wasps. I'm hoping for a real thriller. Am unbelievably proud Bris have got this far and couldn't hope for better opponents.

Stay well all.

Excellent try by Fekitoa but off injured (Le Booj on). What a blow...

Fekitoa....would rather lose the 7 than him off so early..
I think he pulled up lame...and not a knock that he could have run off..

Great try, rubbish that Fekitoa went off straight after.

Hopefully we can overcome that loss of a key player.

Bristol pressure mounts, get a try in the corner.

Missed conversion 13-5

Bears havent really got going yet....if they can go up a gear, there is trouble ahead. But if they cant do that, they are there for the taking.
It depends on the half time reset for both teams..

End to end stuff.

J Willis gets a try and we're up 23-5, after Jimmy's conversion.

For those doubting what Hughes had done for Bristol this season, he's showing it today.

Is it my gold tinted glasses or did Carley miss a blatant forward pass by Briz,, call a knock back by wasps forward, miss two neck rolls on Wasps players, miss a tackle In the air by Briz, allowed Briz tor take a quick one whilst also denying Wasps the same? Also missed a few the other way too.
Never been a fan of his whistle happy style, which is just preference, but too many errors!!
Yet we're still well in the lead!!!

I can't remember a Wasps player of recent times as average as MLB - no pace, misses tackles, cant pass....
