Government Petition - Make the 6 Nations a culturally protected event

Bris fan in peace. This isn't my petition but I saw it going round and thought it best to share.

Make the 6 Nations a culturally protected event.

I would ask the Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport to ensure that the 6 Nations is protected by law and raised to a Class A event. Ensuring that it can not go behind a paywall

Great idea but can they do that given that the ownership of the tournament is based in Dublin and outside the jurisdiction of the UK?

They have the power to change it to the protected Class A list, surely?
