Postponement!

Read that the league is likely to be suspended for 4 weeks personally I'd be amazed if we see any rugby for the rest of season if reports about how long this will last are true

Would Saracens like a whole cancellation of the season?

Just restart next year

I wonder when our contract with the Madstad ends. If matches are postponed behond that it would be awkward.

If Saracens go down, who will come up? Falcons are miles ahead but not mathematically unassailable. Assuming the whole season is ditched....

Speculation on the BBC website that the season will be postponed with the view to finish off by June as planned, any unplayed games to be scored as 0-0 draws with points awarded accordingly.

Dropping out of top 6 recently could be big then...

Would be a shame to miss out on the Heineken by two points but it is what it is (when it's finally all sorted)

To be honest at our stage of development it would be no bad thing to miss out on the HEC - with a smaller squad likely for next season we are better off concentrating on the league and maybe giving the ECC a shot.

Being in a say a pool of Exeter, Clermont and Leinster (whilst good for the crowd numbers) could be very damaging to morale...

Surely the obvious solution to make it fair is to take the table after the end of Round 11, as every team will have played each other team once.

Or alternatively score all games remaining in March and April as 0-0 draws and resume again on 9 May with round 19.

If the next batch of games are 0-0 draws, it'd be favourable for us, given we have tougher fixtures first then a little easier at the end of season.

That being said, all up in the air, and everyone's beating everyone this year, so who knows. Just glad relegation has already been sorted. Would have been a lot of acrimony if not...
