RU proposed changes for COVID-19

I was surprised at yesterday's Telegraph article on proposed changes to restart the season:

Play on one half of the pitch
No contact at scrums and
No tackling

Should rename it netball union.

I had to double check it wasn't April 1st!!!

Your thoughts?

Come on you Irish

Makes sense to me. Unless I'm missing something they are talking about grass roots rather than elite rugby.

Gives clubs the option to reopen and do something vaguely resembling rugby rather than stay shut initially.

I also read that all players will have to wear cotton shorts with pockets, as it will be mandatory to carry a clean white ironed hankie,to collect all excretions.😷
