Brentford Parking concerns

We have reserved (between us) parking spaces a at both Lionel Road School and Strand on the Green School. So this morning decided to drive up and look at both sites, we are travelling from Camberley so the choice was either all the way on the M3 and then past Twickenham or M3 then M25 and M4. The M25 very busy and down to 40mph so took the M3 route, okay but even in todayís times plenty of traffic beyond Twickenham so the sat nav said it would take 40 mins but turned into 70+ mins.
Trying to enter Lionel Road there are very narrow bollards (a transit van in front of us had scraped his sides) and in anything wider than an Evoque you are going to have problems, School site looks small and couldnít see where they are going to put 150 cars? Also there is double parking along Lionel Road that restricts access so match days could be interesting.
Went to Strand on the Green site, again very busy and significant road works all around. The road to the school is narrow not always possible to get two cars passing and entrance to the school quite tight.
Still not sure which is the best option and will definitely not be as easy as parking at the Madjeski was.
Lastly drove to look at the new stadium site looks to be coming on but the flats they are build adjacent canít see them being finished by November and this is causing road closures that will restrict access to the ground.

Aho-hoy,
I emailed Eventbrite shortly after the original post, but as yet, there's been beggar all response.

Has anyone else been to visit the site? Do we know when the permits will be issued?
Cheers

The works around Kew Bridge junction were for the cycleway along the S Circular. These will be extending up the S Circular towards the new stadium but the works by Strand on the Green have now finished.

Also FYI the Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) will be extended in October 2021. SOTG school is inside the ULEZ. Lionel Rd school is outside. There will be a charge for non-compliant vehicles entering the ULEZ.

Also there will be traffic restrictions introduced in the area around SOTG school later this year. They won't stop access to SOTG from the S Circular but they will stop driving straight through between the S Circular and the A316 and also access to SOTG from Hartington Rd on the A316.

Hounslow has published the controlled parking zone extensions for the areas to the west of the new stadium and residents there didn't want them on Sundays.

By the way, current reports are the government want Transport for London to extend the Congestion Charging Zone to the boundary of the North and South Circular.

Strand on the Green school is within the boundary, so if this is implemented, there would be an additional charge for accessing this car park.

Plenty more discussion to happen, however,,,,

I believe it changed in June - "temporarily" ...

At the moment we shouldn't have to worry anyway unless the restricted zone gets enlarged. At the moment parking near Brentford is nowhere near where the zone starts. (Sm63)
