We need a few more Premiership club CEOs shouting the same message. Part of the problem is that the clubs are spread across England and some are in higher risk areas than others. I suspect the government would be loathe to differentiate between clubs, so at the moment the easier answer for them is just to say no. Weíve also got to remember that it isnít just rugby. Many other sports and, indeed, other entertainment businesses are in a similar position, so itís a big step to start opening them all up. However, given the startling ineptitude of our government to date, we may just get lucky and get yet another u-turn in our favour. Itís rather like having an incompetent referee - occasionally a decision goes your way...
