Attack coach

We clearly have a lot of talented young backs coming through for us but talent alone is not enough they need support in terms of effective coaching (something we are sadly lacking) Quins have just announced that Sean Long their attack coach is leaving - might be worth a punt, certainly Quins attack has looked far more organised than ours of late.

Did he choose to leave, or was he released? Every team needs decent coaches, but the really good ones are rarely out of contract.
We have looked very average in attack recently, but whether that is down to poor coaching, or players underperforming, or injuries to key players, I don't know.
With the majority of the squad fit for the beginning of the season, we shall see.
Some of our expensive stars have not been playing at their supposed level, or in some cases played at all. Hopefully this will change.
With the Covid crisis and the Salarymen's relegation, last season was too disrupted to be a true reflection of where several teams, including us, should actually be.
On paper, we ought to be much further up the table than 10th.
For me, although I have a few misgivings, the jury is still out on our coaches, but not for much longer.
