That's a strong lineup for Saints, we can have no excuses around player availability if we come up short on Sunday.

looks a close game on paper, but i get the feeling there'll be about 80 points shared around. Hopefully slightly our way.

Actually - just checked the weather....

I'm hoping to see some of Vass's influence on our defensive performance

Awesome looking backline and great to see Mitchell and Proctor back and Harry starting. Not sure I agree about player unavailability not being an issue in the pack; second row and back row are both a bit light. Think it will be won/lost with our defence and decision making if the weather is bad.

I know we're all fully aware but its worth noting that Lawes, Ludlam & Furbank are still away with international squads... just to add to 'those unavailable due to selection'.

Oh, and for any Sarries fans looking in... 9 out of starting 15 and 13 out of 23 man squad from the Academy.

Properly from the Academy!

It's not any worse than the team selection at the start of the season.

Great back line
Pack will need to avoid an arm wrestle

*pack will need to win the imminent arm wrestle

The weight/power ratio is not stacked in our favour.
Need to play smart
Need a good controlling game from the half backs

Wilson Pickett 14 February, 2020 17:03
when have Cobus and Grays done that?

just need a comitted performance, wear them down, play in the right areas and hopefully some space opens up last 20

As long as we stay away from 20 minutes of scrummaging in the ticket-office corner this time I'll be satisfied!

Good side considering the International call ups with strong bench as well. I am very interested to see what our tactics will be - I hope that there will be no repeated kicking the ball out on the full.

Good to see Paul Hill on the bench, hopefully heíll get some much needed game time. It looks like Ferguson is making sure we rotate all our props picking starters on form and bench by rotation. It would be unfortunate if the rumours of Paul being poached are true, I think heís got a lot to offer Saints and Iíd like to see him stay on.

hopefully there will be more than 11 saints on the pitch at the end this season

Good looking team! Results have gone our way this weekend so a win tomorrow and we could be 7 points clear of third

The weather is likely to make a lottery of the game, irrespective of intent
