You can't really judge our defensive issues on this micky mouse, end of season, nothing much to play for encounter. You always get a load of points in these kind of games. The weather obviously helps.

The maul issue has only occurred this year. Previously we were outstanding in that area. Diamond has already admitted his failing in addressing the new laws. A bit of slack in that area is earned. Mills makes a massive difference, so it is personnel as much as coaching, so only fair to judge next season if there are any improvements.

The last try was broken field from rubbish kick, so no issue there, and the other we were caught out with 14 players, and James came in to track an excellent decoy line.

We have to give Gloucester some credit. For me the game was lost with some basic errors ball in hand, swinging the momentum back to them.

To say Haley was poor is harsh. I thought he looked v dangerous all game. He did make mistakes, but poor is incorrect imho.
