The Rugbypass article misses another issue with Saracens relegation and the potential termination of the season.
In that the second points deduction was, I believe due to us not willing to open our books to prove we were under the cap this season AND hand our trophies back. The club were never going to agree to that unless all clubs were asked to comply. They weren't so we took relegation.

If this season was declared over, no trophies, winners or losers, in effect null and void, all results cancelled, as if there never was a season, then how can we be over the cap this year if there weren't any games played to be over the cap?

Worth discussing on here I think.

Oh Lordy, nothing like giving the hornets nest a good whack. (Sm100)
