What i was hoping for, employing a former AB and a guy, who although he hadn't won anything at the Crusdaers (with the likes on Carter, McCaw, Reid, Thorn, Franks (both), Crockett, Dagg, Whitelock (x3), Slade, SBW, Romano, Crotty, Todd, Moody, Taylor (Codie)) they did come close twice. I was hoping for an evolution of an effective style.
Now, i don't know enough about rugby to know why that hasn't happened but what i do know is, i haven't read a coherent explanation of that here either.

Sadly you do not just bring in a new coach and start playing really well immediately.. The two most successful clubs in the Premiership at the moment, Exeter and Sarries, have both had their coaching teams in place for long periods of time. McCall has been DoR at Sarries since the 2010/11 season and Baxter at Exeter since 2009.

I think it would be fair to say as well that both of those teams did not have flowing, fancy nor beautiful rugby to begin with either. Sarries particularly played an extremely ugly brand of rugby for a number of years which relied incredibly upon their aggressive defence and a certain England 10 who could kick a few goals consistently.

We are a few years off of that imo but what has been improved this season, bar a couple of games, is that our defence has been excellent and has won us a few games. The attack is a work in progress but given the way the season goes you are never going to get perfect flowing rugby all the time as your first choice players are not always available due to injury/international periods!
