The problem with our current tactics is they will be utterly ineffective in the Prem. You canít wait for your superior fitness to tell next year. Youíll be waiting a long time (especially as we are regularly one of the least fit teams in the Prem).
Plus a tactic of sitting back and absorbing the pressure like we did for most of the first half is an excellent way to concede a bonus point in 40 minutes next year.

As I said on another thread, Flood is an excellent bloke. He gets far too much stick on here, he was an absolute warrior last season, and heís doing his best. The problem is, he just can not operate at a speed required for a high paced attack, and that was compounded last night by having Owen at 12, which slowed everything down even more. Iím totally fine with having Toby on the bench to come on if Hodgson or Haydon-Wood is having a shocker, kick the corners, play sensible. But the sensible kick the corner game should not be plan A.

The current rugby Falcons are producing is woeful to watch, is worryingly lacking in basic skills and is featuring players that are not the future of this team. And the most concerning part of it is that Deano seems happy about it.
