I believe this is excellent news, and will ensure many more people will be in attendance than would otherwise have been the case. It also makes yet another good argument to buy yourself a season ticket!

Unfortunately, unless Leeds Rugby unveil their new invention, the automatic, instantaneous, mass transit teleport system to get everyone there in the blink of an eye, there's still the small matter of four to five hours coach journey each way to endure. And I still wonder about how wise this might prove to be in the long run as regards building a permanent, sustainable fan base from the initial interest following the Cup win.

However, this shouldn't be allowed to dampen the spirits too much. Leeds Rugby have come up trumps and done a deal to help smoothe the way, and have ensured that everything that they can do is done to make sure the fans path to Twickenham is as easy as they can make it.

So, after my rather pessimistic article two days ago, I am a much happier person. However, I'm still unable to go that day (primarily because its a Saturday - rugby is for PLAYING on Saturdays, NOT watching!), but I think that after a small amount of reflection, we'll see one or two more Tykes at Twickers again.
