Just when we thought it was all over and it was safe to write up the final 2002/03 squad list another player leaves Leeds Tykes. According to BBC Teletext and Planet Rugby Leeds Tykes prop Kris Fullman has joined Orrell.

Fullman is one of four players who have joined the National Division One side. Simon Haughton, the Wigan Warriors forward, is the latest cross code signing. Matt Lacey returns to Orrell after a one season stint at Manchester. Completing the quartet is Ben Lewitt, the Leicester Tiger's back row forward who was on loan to the Rugby Lions last season.

Orrell will benefit from Fullman's experience aswell as his "aggressive" scrummaging. As 15UP says "Orrell are going to be a team to watch this coming season."

Tykes have Shelley, Wring, Kerr and O'Keefe in the squad, so Fullman's departure will not leave us short of quality in the front row. However it again reduces the squad to 29, and are four props enough for a Premiership season? Is there another signing on the cards?
