Our Very First Charity Effort

 After winning promotion in the April it was all hands to the deck getting integrated into the Premiership

We had made really good friends with Northampton Saints Supporters Club. Every year they had a big walk to raise funds for the Briotish Heart Foundation(we eventually walked and cycled for them), so it was decided by the Supporters Club Committee that we would join them to rais money for the BHF.

As we had a big game on the same day as their walk 4 of the committee members decided we would walk the same distance as the Saints Supporters, from the other side of Malver to the club.

We set off a "Early O Clock" dark and wet with an aim to arriver at the ground as the bars opened for the game. We had a support team - of ONE. who provided water stops and Hot bacon sandwiches at Powick.

The Players and coaches joined in with donations as we raised nearly £2,000 for the BHF Charity
