Great Britain will be looking to bonce back from last weekends 42-26 defeat at the hands of New Zealand by taking on the current world champions New Zealand at Wigan's JJB Stadium. In 2004, GB beat the Aussies at the JJB Stadium by 24-12, and coach Brian Noble will be hoping for more of the same from his lions.

Britain have dropped debutants Nick Fozzard and Rob Burrow from the side that lost to New Zealand in their opening game while half-backs Iestyn Harris and Richard Horne have been added to a 19-man squad. Also set for his first GB cap is Hull FC forward Jamie Thackray, will now take the place of St. Helens forward Nick Fozzard.

GB vice-captain Brian Carney keeps his place on the right wing despite a nightmare performance against New Zealand after he recieved a vote of confidence in midweek from players and coaches of the team.
