Welcome to Tribe Talk.

This forum is independent of Exeter Rugby Club and is a place for Exeter Chiefs and other rugby clubs’ fans to discuss the game we all love. Everyone is welcome to visit and comment (once you’ve registered and signed in, of course).

We've always managed to keep it civil in here and I'd prefer 'light touch' administration but, we never know who's reading our comments so, just as if it was your local rugby club bar, everyone is expected to behave themselves. That means:

  • NO personal abuse or bullying of other posters, players or management. By all means criticise a player’s performance (if it’s warranted) but do so respecfully. Please bear in mind that this is a public forum and is therefore subject to English law so avoid libelling individuals and inflammatory racist, religious, homophobic etc. comments and language. There will be ZERO tolerance: anyone breaching this ‘rule’ will be banned.
  • NO swearing. This includes swapping letters around or other obfuscation, or foreign language. Sports Network has a swear filter – don’t rely on it. If you wouldn’t say it in front of your kids, don’t say it on here.
  • DON’T post obscene images.
  • DON’T post copyrighted images without permission from the owner.
  • DON’T post links to illegal streaming/download websites. If you’re wondering if a site is illegal, if it’s offering for free something you usually have to pay for in the UK, it probably is.
  • MULTIPLE IDENTITIES are banned.
  • TROLLS will not be tolerated. If your only purpose in posting is to wind-up or irritate other forum users, your posts and all replies will be deleted and you will be banned without warning.

Breach of any of the above will result in the post and/or thread being deleted and a warning. Repeat offences will result in a 2-week suspension from the forum. A further breach will result in a permanent ban.

A couple of further requests:

Please mark threads that aren’t about rugby as off-topic (preface the thread title O/T)

It’s preferable if you link to articles on their original websites, but if you copy and paste published articles from another website, e.g., a newspaper, you MUST credit the original publisher. For example, if you find a story about Exeter Chiefs in the Daily Telegraph and re-use it here, include “From the Daily Telegraph” in your thread.

If you have any queries, including requests to have articles or images removed please contact me (ouch!_that_hurts) via the Private Messaging facility.
