St. Marlowe
They'll be coming 'down the M1
when they come,
they'll be coming 'down the M1
when they come,
they'll be coming 'down the M1
they'll be coming 'down the M1
they'll be coming 'down the M1
when they come,
They'll be driving six old hearses
When they come . . . .
Oh, the Saints front row will eat them
When they come . . . .
We will kill the old black falcon
When they come . . . .
We'll all have falcon n' dumplin's
When they come . . . .
We'll all be shoutin' "Jimmies"
When they come . . . .
We will all count our winnings
when they come.......
Smudger will be Smiling
When they come......
Whinger will be whingeing
when they've gone.......
Wilco will be crying
when they've gone...........
Saint's will be a few points higher
when they've gone.........

The Squeaky Bird.
There's a strange feathered creature
Which comes from oop north
But 'round now migrates to the South.
Eas'ly distinguished
From all other birds
By it's large, uncontrollable mouth.
Once seen over Gloucester,
There perched on a shed,
Squawking some horrible noise.
Though it's now 'pologetic
And truly repents
For upsetting those little Lost Boys.
It doesn't like pussies,
Especially Tigs.
And thinks that their keepers are fools.
For completely ignoring
The natural order
And using their own set of rules.
It's building a home
Where its flock can keep dry:
A Conservat'ry on its old nest
But it's just a poor copy
Of Franklins - you know.
The Gardens is still Zippee's best.
It came here before,
Just a few months ago
And tried to take over our roost
It settled on 'Pig's Patch'
To feed, but was soon -
To the 'Ways of the Smudge' introduced.
Run this way and that way
Inside and out
The poor bird was battered and bruised.
It tried to follow
The Rob Andrew Plan but
Was sent home completely bemused
By Satdee the bird
Should have reached Jimmy's End
It'll try to nest there once again.
It'll send out its chicks
Quite under- prepared
And try to pit wits with Air Wayne.
So why does it bother
When it knows it can't win
Surely it's courting disaster.
But deep down we know
That the reason it comes
Is to kneel at the feet of the Master.

As you know I've now got a new job,
Which I thought would be just a great caper.
But we've only been back for a couple of days
And already I'm drowning in paper.
By Monday I've got a great mountain to climb
'nough to drive me quite clear round the bend
But friends, I could honestly not give a damn
'Cos tomorrow I'm down Jimmy's End.

I'll be there, as long as I'm able
Not too drunk with me legs all unstable.
So Saintsby me pal
You certainly shall
Be requested to mek me a label.
Saintsby
Please put me on List
I'ts not to be missed
This gathering of the COYSD com
I'll be there at one sharp
With my halo and Harp
who knows, I may even meet Lom
