Not trying to tell you how to do your job Ted, but you could have made the Louis announcement a news story.

Apologies as I'm sure this has been covered but what's the difference?

Toyed with the idea, not sure where we stand with copying the story from saints though.

Although if your reading this Mr Wearmouth, I'm more than happy to publish saints articles as news here and wouldn't say no to embargoed stuff heading this way to be released just after you guys do!!

From what Ican make out there is no real difference, in the mod cave, they are all stories, I'm not sure if it is just this site that titles them NEWS: I only found that out after Ipublished the first couple and it didn't automatically say that.

If your not aware, basically this message board comes as part of a site which publishes articles/news/stories, this is where the money is made, not on the message boards, we need to submit one of these every two weeks to keep the board going.

Some of the sites take this more seriously than others, I'm aware of one that just post a random article from the internet, but that kind of defies the point.

We're currently the most popular site on the network for content, however that stat is probably skewed by people coming to the message board through the main site, however Wasps just edge us on the message board front, I suspect this may change as the day goes on as people come on to add to the already 600+ posts we've had on Louis.

Just a random fact for you, the site has had 561473 views this month, from 13675 different people, compare that to last month which was 397638 views and 11438 individuals viewing, so thanks for that Louis as well as the performances on the pitch.

In hindsite this could have made an article!

I appreciate that the Lions and the England tours will generate interest and comment, but if you closed down the site for say half of July and the whole of August when little is happening Saintlywise, would it be difficult to resurrect it for the start of the new season?

No idea to be honest, but I doubt that's an avenue we would wish to go down.

This is why we would like articles/stories/quizzes erg to publish, this will keep some momentum going over the summer months.

If we shut the site down over that period where would people discuss the now inevitable rumours about saints being linked to every 8 on the planet?!

Presumably it's OK to have articles on the Lions and international tours on here given that there should be a fair crossover of interest?

That way we can turn each one into a shall we sign their No8 conversation!

Of course, nothings restricted that's rugby related

I sent you one article, it appeared for about twenty fours hours and then disappeared without trace. Whats the point ?
