Sadly cannot be there but I hope those that can, enjoy the afternoon sun.

With a few exceptions, it looks like Saints possibles against Blues probables.

Quite a few unexpected absentees. Painter, Ribbans, Hinckley, Augustus, Mitchell, Sleightholme.

Can’t imagine they just wouldn’t be involved for this sort of game. So imagine they’ve picked up pre season knocks. And zero point risking anyone who is not 100%.

Well looks a reasonable first half for a friendly. plenty to work on in the line outs whish is good as they are a new bunch playing together.
Still not sure abou Skosan seems a bit relecutant to put his "body on the line"?

But good run out that wasn’t that easy so will give PD plenty to work on

All got a bit disjointed in the second half with players coming back on but out of position but for a friendly, it is what it is.

Oh, the music after a score... That can stop immediately. We are not Sarries, Quins or Wasps!

Total agreement with that. Along with Shouty Man not realising he has a PA system, an Email from Mr Angry of Newport Pagnell will be arriving in someone's inbox before he gets in to work for next week.

A few bars of stirring music as the team's run out - and that is quite sufficient.
In recent seasons several players have received quite serious knocks in these warm-up games but as far as I am aware there were no 'nasties' today.
