The draw has been made for the pools of next seasons Heineken Cup and Saints have been pitched in with Llanelli Scarlets, Glasgow and Stade Toulouse for the first rounds of the 2004/2005 competition. Its somewhat of a tough proposition but not unsurmountable. The games against Llanelli in last years tournament are still fresh in the memory but the moutwatering prospect of meeting Toulouse who knocked Saints out at the QF stage two years ago is one that will be eagerly anticipated.

Saints travel down to France two weeks before Christmas for the game in Toulouse and despite the time of year the club will be hoping to take the kind of support that saw 2000 Northamptonians travel down for the game in 2003.
