Welsh language channel S4C kicks off its new season coverage of French rughy with a live, yes LIVE, Top 16 game between Toulouse and Perpignan on Monday August 23rd, see above. Le Rygbi, the magazine programme featuring all the top French games returns on Weds 25th Aug.

Media reports suggest that Setanta may be about to add live Celtic League rugby featuring the three Scottish sides to its portfolio, they already have the rights to show the home games of Munster, Leinster, Connacht & Ulster. Whether these games will be freely available in the UK or via subscription remains to be seen. Watch this space. Homes games featuring the Welsh sides will still feature on ScrumV starting Friday 3 September with The Ospreys v Munster. A week earlier they will be showing the 'Battle of Britain' clash between Llanelli Scarlets and Wasps.
