Battle For Third

Four games to go and the 32-14 win in front of the Sky TV cameras puts us level pon points with Jersey Reds in the fight for third place.

Blues and Pirates served up decent entertainment for the TV audience and for those at Goldington Road.

It was a game we never looked loke losing after  starting well off the blocks courtesy of a line-out after just one minute - it was won by Oli Curry with Lee Dickson dinking thriough for Adamson to go over and  Will Hooley converting.

The crucial spell came later in the half when a loobed Pirates pass proved too temptimg for Ed Coulson who kocked it back for Ryan Hutler to run from within his 22 to score.

A minute later and Rich Lane took advantage of another Pirates error to outstrip everyone  to make it 22-0.

Game over. Pirates did come back but we got our bonus point courtesy of  a penatry try with five minutes left.
