The weather was the dominant factor as Blues and Trailfinders slugged it out a very wet Goldington Road with the blanket of rain pulsing through the floodlights.

In then end Trailfinders had a bit too much muscle for the home side running out worthy 18-5 winners.

They were always in front after forcing early pens which eventually saw them power over from a line-out with Matt Cornish the scorer.

Ryan Hutler got one back before a repeat perromance from Cornish with the visitors sealing the win in a tight second half thanks to a couple of penalties.

Next up it a strip to Doncaster and lets hope for better weather.
