Man On A Mission

By New Cherry
August 10 2020

Shake your heads, wipe the sleep from your eyes and find a telly which shows BT Sport.  The old Glaws has disappeared into the sunset and the new one travels to Wuss on Sturday with new faces in the dressing room and the executive suite. Can ony other club have gone through such an overhaul during lockdown?

New boy George Skivington has been making all the right noises and let's see if he can turn a squad of big names into a team - specially one which can put in a full 80 minutes.

Its been difficult to keep track of all the comings and goings, but Jonny May is back and suprisingly so is Francois Marais  - at least  for a bit. Louis Rees-Zammit is also now a fully fledged senior.

Hello to:

Jordy Reid ( Trailfinders)

Jack Singleton (Saracens)

Jonny May (Tigers)

Matías Alemanno (Jaguares),

Matt Garvey,

Franco Marais (NTT DoCoMo Red Hurricanes),

Logovi’i Mulipola (Falcons),

Cameron Jordan (Tigers) .

In all 13 players have departed - notably Francois Mostert who will be extraordinarly  difficult to replace in the second row. Josh Hohneck, Callum Braley and Owen Williams will also be missed.

We restart in 11th and have nine games to finish on a high - with more than one eye on next season.
