So it was time to see how we would match up to our current bogey team - Saracens. This time with the added spice that it would be the first time we would play against ex Saint Chris Ashton. It was an unusual game in that it was a Saturday 3:00pm kick off?The result was another win for a very effective if somewhat uninspiring Sarries against a Saints team that rarely threatened. I suppose it would be fair to say it was an even more uninspiring Saints performance. The season is starting to look a lot less rosey than it did at the start of October.

A first win for our new number 8. Well done GJ. Nice to be able to put that silly ban behind you.

Ken and Samu remain out front. Only three Englishmen (qualified) have win so far.

Still five ever present names on the starting team sheet after 9 games.

Backs and Forwards are neck and neck but we are still on firm tracks. I suspect that soon the forwards will take control.

I know our performances are a little disappointing but the number of the votes at the moment is very disheartening.
