Neath and Leiceter have not had a meeting for a few years now, this one promises to make up though by being a great one this friday at The Gnoll This coming Friday, The Gnoll will be the venue of the battle between Neath and Leiceter as both sides look to start their European campaigns successfully.
The Gnoll club face a huge task as the face reighning champions Leiceter although the tigers have not had the best of starts to their season with three defeats to their name. Even though Leiceter haven't had the best of starts they managed a 22-20 victory over Bath at Welford Road and will certainly rise for the occasion at The Gnoll.
Neath have not been in The Premier European tournament for the last two seasons while Leiceter have won the tournament in Neath's absence.
Even though Neath were defeated by Leiceters cup final opponents from last year Munster, Leiceter will be prepared for a bumpy ride when they come to the Gnoll where they have won the last two meetings against Neath.
In the back row Neath will be hoping Brett Sinkinson is fit for the clash to face English rival Neil Back, Leiceter will almost certainly be without All Black's legend Josh Kronfeld as he is on the verge of signing for Wasps because of being regularly named on the bench for Leiceter which shows the sort of talent they have got.
Neither side could really be labeled favourites or underdogs for the clash, it should be a close encounter, Don't miss it!
