It wasn't exciting for the 1500 or so who braved a cold valley night but the result puts the Warriors right back on track for a high celtic league finish The Warriors first win since the 13th September was most welcome. It could of and should of been much easier and a lot prettier but looking back who cares this could be the result that restarts our season.

I don't want to criticise Gwent but I will, they came to Sardis with a gameplan that involved spoiling Warriors possession and having a backline that was permanently 10 yards offside. The ref gave a few yellows but it did not do the trick. The backline has talent but they seemed insistent on not using it.

The most pleasing aspect of the whole game for me was the Warriors pack who looked hungry and aggressive.

Warriors scores came from the boot of Jenkins (14 points) and a try from Havilli.

N Budgett - Excellent first half, good line out possesion and worked hard.
R Jones - BBC man of the match, the Warriors did not miss Bryan at all and it is to his credit.
J Bryant - "JB" had the upper hand on Marinos from the very first minute with his charging runs, I believe he is the no1 powerhouse inside centre in Wales and should make the 6n squad. Only criticism is that he could of distributed the ball better at times.
A Havilli - Scored and looked dangerous, short of fitness and confidence but still looked a matchwinner.
