06.06.04 - DESPITE earlier claims by BBC Wales that they would be showing Wales's test series in Argentina, BskyB have won exclusive rights to broadcast both matches from South America.

Sky who will also be screening Wales's one off test against South Africa from Pretoria, confirmed that they have brokered a deal to add the tests to an already impressive portfolio of tour matches this summer, adding a further blow to the Beeb.

"Each of the Wales games is live at a good, sociable time - lunchtime or evening - and will attract good crowds in pubs and sports clubs as well as at home."

Sky Sports also covered Mike Ruddocks first game in charge against the Barbarians at Ashton Gate, due to a clause that allows over Broadcasters to bid for non six nations games involving Wales outside of Wales.

06.06.04 - FORMER Celtic Warrior flanker Maama Molitika has signed for Zurich Premiership outfit Harlequins. The 28 year old Tongan will link up with the Parker Pen champions ahead of next season with Welsh men, prop Ceri Jones and recent acquisition Dafydd James.
