A mixed weekend of form the Welsh regions ahead of the Heineken cup. The Ospreys and Dragons secured tight but unconvincing victories, whilst Cardiff Blues faded in Limerick, eventually being on the end of a hammering. Friday

The Blues continued their poor run with a convincing defeat in Munster where Christian Cullen returned to top form, Blues fans must be fearful of their prospects in the European Cup.

The Ospreys won in a dire match at St Helens against Leinster, the table toppers kept up the 100% record in a match coach Lyn Jones enjoyed and used the word "Intensity" a record amount of times. Man of the moment Gavin Henson missed 6 consecutive kicks in the second half, consistency is key Gavin!

The Dragons won narrowly against a much improved Borders outfit, people are optimistic in Rodneyland but they did lose to the Bloos not to many games back.

Neath beat Bridgend to make it 7 games unbeaten, Llanelli and Newport lead the way at the mo, but Neath are strong favourites for the title.
