Wales Under 21s' expectantly crushed an invitational New Zealand side at Aberavon. Forwards Alun Wyn Jones followed by Chris Davies both scored first half tries as Wales overawed the tourits.

Wing Chris Czekaj contiuned to outilne the Under 21's dominance with a further score, before Tom Riley, Ricky Williams (twice) and replacemnt Dafydd Hewitt rounded off a one sides encounter at the Talbot ground.

Aled Thomas landed nineteen points, as the out half enjoyed an accurate night with the boot.

"It wasn't about them (New Zealand), it was about us. We asked the boys to go out and play with an intent, to get width on the ball, and they did it from the outset. We know there's a tougher test against England. They beat us three times last season, but we are performing far better than at this stage last year." (Coach, Chris Davey)

"It's good to get a win under our belts, we off-loaded well, kept the ball alive and supported. It was an honour and an experience to captain my country and I'm happy with the performance of the boys. We can take a lot out of the game, but we are under no illusions about England in the Six Nations, that will be a completely different test." (Captain, Jon Mills)
