Round up of the Welsh Rugby news from the previous week. None of the pro sides in action but still plenty going on, for details read on.

Wales captain Gareth Thomas made his comeback from injury in Toulouse Heineken Cup semi final victory over Leicester, Alfie looked impressive in setting up the decisive try. I wish him well on the Lions tour, he deserves a Lions cap and a true honest player.

 

The Dragons are in disarray, DoR Andy Marinos is to head home, Tony Brown pulling out as benefactor, Percy Montgomery has a proposed move to France and no one wants the coaching job. And to cap it off Chris Anderson launched a stinging attack in the Wales on Sunday.

 

Gavin Henson was far from impressed with the Lions team bonding, the English media seem to want to portray him as the glamour boy villain, I hope he can do his talking with his rugby.

 

Sonny Parker is the new Kevin Morgan, another injury and his dismal luck goes from bad to worse, get well soon Mr Parker.

 

The Scarlets make another controversial signing in USA fly half Mike Hercus, he was 4^th choice at Sale.

 

And one of their minority Welsh contigent Mark Taylor is expected to sign for Bristol tomorrow.
