Bester continued, “Coventry have one of the biggest playing budgets in the division and have recruited well. They use their pack effectively and tend to play a forwards type of game.

“But our concern is not in what others are doing; it’s what we do that matters. We don’t waste time thinking about things that are outside what we can control.

“We played quite well against Moseley, considering it was the first game of the season in atrocious conditions. There were things that we did we weren’t happy with, but we’ve put them right this week and we are prepared for this week’s test. But as I’ve said before, we will take one game at a time and not get ahead of ourselves.”

FORM GUIDE

Both teams come into the game on the back of very good away victories. Rotherham stuffed Moseley and Coventry beat Sedgley Park, with both sides collecting the bonus point.

Coventry, coached by former Roth favourite Mike Umaga, will be keen to put one over his old club. However Rotherham are full of confidence at the moment and feel if they produce their best game, then all-comers are beatable.

Coventry favour a forwards style of game and will look to take Roth on in that department. Roth perhaps has more options at their disposal and can adopt a style to suit various scenarios.

One thing is certain however, it will be a tough and close encounter. But providing Rotherham are “switched on” the victory should be theirs, although they may have to settle for four points this week.
