Bedford Blues remain in sixth place in the table after this home win over Newbury who remain in 11^th place.         

Newbury had the better of the first half and went in 15-0 ahead after scoring two tries. One came form full back Mal Roberts who was scoring in his ninth consecutive match and closing in on the divisional record. The other try came form wing Martin Nutt whilst Tim Walsh scored five points with the boot.

The second half was all Bedford with 29 unanswered points, the first try coming two minutes into the half from fly half Ross Broadfoot and James Pritchard converted. Pritchard then added a penalty goal before they drew level on 50 minutes after No 8 Ben Pienaar went over for an unconverted try.  

They moved ahead on 71 minutes when centre Liam Roberts went over for a rare try and Pritchard added the extras.

They did not seal the win and the bonus point till injury time when replacement back row man Sasha Harding touched down and Pritchard again converted.

Pertemps Bees 7 (Try: Goodridge (40). Con: Petty.   

Sedgley Park 27 (Tries: Newton (47), Jones 55), Riley (69). Cons: Jones 3. Pens: Jones 2 (9, 40).       

Excellent away win for Sedgley Park but with Moseley also winning they are still four points clear of the relegation zone.        

Park were on the scoreboard after eight minutes when Phil Jones put over a penalty goal. It stayed that way till the 40^th minute when Full back Jon Goodridge went over for his seventh try of the season and Rod Petty converted. Three minutes into injury time and Park pulled three points back with a second Jones penalty goal. 

They went ahead seven minutes into the second half when flanker Adam Newton went over for a try and Jones converted to 13-7. It was soon 20-7 after Jones went over for a try and put over the conversion. They rounded off the win with a third try when right wing Matt Riley went over and Jones again converted.

London Welsh 24 (Tries: Wellwood (28), Quigley (47). Con: Ulph. Pens: Ulph 3 (8, 39, 42). DG: Marks (80).     

Waterloo 19 (Tries: Payne (5), Sliczny (22), Tyms (35). Cons: Tyms 2.       

Big game for both sides and it was the Welsh who came out on top with was a good thing with Moseley also winning otherwise they would have found themselves in the relegation zone.         

It was the visitors who took the lead when centre Freeman Payne went over for a fifth minute try and full back Dan Loader converted for 7-0. Three minutes later and the home side were on the scoreboard with Sam Ulph putting over a penalty goal. Waterloo went 14-3 up when their other centre Adam Sliczny went in for a try and again Loader converted on 22 minutes. Six minutes later and Welsh debutante winger James Wellwood went in for a score and made it 14-8.

Five minutes before the break Waterloo got a third try as hooker Chris Tyms went over and made it 19-8. Ulph did pull three more points back late in the half and the Welsh went in trailing 19-11.

Ulph put over another penalty goal two minutes into the second half and five minutes later they were in front. They got a second try as second row Howard Quigley got his first try of the season and Ulph converted to make it 21-19.

They sealed the win late on when Jon Marks put over an injury time drop goal. .

Moseley 15 (Tries: Bressington (13), Penalty try (53). Con: Thomas. Pen: Thomas (58).    

Coventry 13 (Tries: Sanders (6). Con: Russell. Pens: Russell 2 (10, 29).       

Much needed win for Moseley which allows them to stay in contact with the sides immediately above them in the league table who also won at the weekend.

It was Coventry who took the lead with a try from centre Donovan Sanders after just six minutes and Ben Russell added the extras and then made it 10-0 four minutes later.

In the 13^th minute the home side were on the scoreboard after right wing Nathan Bressington went over and reduced the gap to five points.  Just before the half hour mark the visitors got a second penalty goal and the visitors went in 13-5 ahead.

13 minutes into the second half and the home side were awarded a penalty try and Olli Thomas converted to make it a one point game.

Moseley did mange to sneak the win when five minutes later Thomas put over a penalty goal in what turned out to be a winning score. 

Plymouth Albion 52 (Tries: Vaenuku (5), Lewsey 2 (8, 49), Arscott (20), Oxley (27), Van Eyk (40), Sestaret 2 (65, 76). Cons: Van Eyk 4, Delaney 2.   

Otley 20 (Tries: Smith (60), Back (72), Stockdale (79), Edwards (80).      

Plymouth Albion move up into third place after this home win over Otley running in eight tries.        

It took Albion just five minutes to get on the scoreboard with new centre Sila Vaenuku going over and Regardt Van Eyk converting. Three minutes later it was 14-0 as scrum half Ed Lewsey touched down and again Van Eyk converted. Further tries form wing Tom Arscott and hooker Richard Oxley saw the four try bonus point secured by the 27^th minutes as the home side opened up a 26-0 lead. Van Eyk got a fifth on 40 minutes and with the conversion sent his side in 33-0 ahead.

In the second half Otley were actual winners 20-19 running in four tries to the three from Albion.

Home winger Nicolas Sestaret did manage a late double to move onto 13 for the season. Two of the Otley tries came in injury time as they sneaked a try bonus point.

Earth Titans 0  

Exeter Chiefs 29 (Tries: Luff (25), Blythe (35), Baxter (74), Kingdom (80). Cons: Yapp 3. Pen: Yapp (13).      

Shock result of the weekend as the Earth Titans are beaten at home by Exeter Chiefs and drop to fourth place in the table whilst Exeter move up to seventh place in the table.        

The Chiefs went ahead on 13 minutes when Tony Yapp put over a penalty goal. They Chiefs went further ahead on 25 minutes when wing Jason Luff went over and made it 8-0. The visitors went in 15-0 ahead after a try from hooker Sam Blythe after 35 minutes and Yapp converted this time.

In the second half it was not till the 74^th minute that the scoreline changed as No 8 Richard Baxter went over and Yapp converted. They rounded off the win and took the four try bonus point in injury time when left wing Gary Kingdom touched down and again Yapp converted.

Nottingham 17 (Tries: Hall (10), Montague (38). Cons: Barlow 2. Pen: Barlow (29).    

Doncaster 35 (Tries: Carter 2 (4, 50), Cannon (31), Davies (40), Gross (55). Cons: Woodrow 2. Pens: Woodrow 2 (19, 21).       

Doncaster move into second place in the table after this away win at Nottingham picking up all five points on offer.        

Doncaster were ahead after just four minutes with full back Anthony Carter going over to make it 5-0. Nottingham were in front on 10 minutes when prop Nigel Hall went over and Tom Barlow converted. Two Mark Woodrow penalty goals on 19 and 21 minutes saw the visitors go a11-7 ahead but eight minutes later Barlow slotted one over for the home side and they were just a point behind.

A try from centre John Cannon converted by Woodrow saw the visitors go 18-10 ahead on 31 minutes.

Nottingham No 8 Dan Montague went over for a try and got the home side back to within a point on 38 minutes. Deep into injury time the visitors got a third try as wing Wes Davies touched down and Woodrow added the extras and Doncaster went in 25-17 ahead.

In the second half the visitors managed a couple more tries as Carter got a second and second row Luke Cross went over to seal the win a5 35-17 after 55 minutes in what turned out to be the final score of the match.  

Cornish Pirates 21 (Tries: Cracknell (46), Cowley (79). Con: Di Bernardo. Pens: Di Bernardo 3 (3, 22, 63).    

Leeds Tykes 21 (Tries: Dunbar (18), Hepworth (30), T Rock (56). Cons: Welding 3.     

The game of the weekend ends all square at 21 each and the Tykes remain top of the table and the Pirates drop down to fifth place.

The Pirates went 3-0 ahead after just three minutes with Alberto Di Bernardo putting over a penalty goal.

Leeds went ahead on 18 minutes when blindside Jon Dunbar touched down and Richard Welding added the extras. Di Bernardo pulled three points back but a second Tykes try on 25 minutes form fly half John Hepworth saw the visitors go in 14-6 ahead with Welding again converting.

Six minutes into the second half and the Pirates were over the Leeds try line with flanker Chris Cracknell going in for an unconverted try.

10 minutes later though they Tykes were 10 points in front after centre Tom Rock went over and Welding again.

Di Bernardo pulled three points back just after the hour mark to leave the home side trailing by seven points.

On 79 minutes the home side got a second try and replacement back row Tim Cowley touched down and Di Bernardo put over the conversion to level the match.
