Leaders Doncaster lost at Goldington Road to Bedford Blues late on after looking like they were going to snick it.

Full back James Pritchard put the home side ahead on nine minutes with a penalty goal. Mark Woodrow responded for the visitors and put over penalty goals on 22 and 40 minutes to go in at half time 6-3 ahead.

They held that lead till the 80^th minute when Pritchard put over a second penalty goal to level the scores.

The winning score came in injury time when fly half Ben Patston dropped a goal and the Blues took the win to maintain their excellent home record.           

London Welsh 24 (Tries: Guest (21), Marks (24). Con: Marks. Pens: Marks 2 (8, 40), Cholewa 2 (71, 80).     

Otley 11 (Try: Smith (62). Pens: Benson 2 (42, 53).     

Important win for London Welsh at Old Deer Park over fellow strugglers Otley.

Tom Marks put the home side ahead in the 8^th minute with a penalty goal. The games first try came in the 21^st minute when debutante back row man Tom Guest went over and Marks converted for 10-0. Marks then went over for a try in the 24^th minute and closed the half with a penalty goal to go in 18-0 ahead.

Two penalties form full back Jon Benson, a recent recruit from Doncaster, put over a couple of penalty goals on 42 and 53 minutes. When winger Danny Smith went over for a try on 62 minutes the visitors were within a score of the Welsh.

Lee Cholewa sealed the win for the home side with a couple of late penalty goals to take four very valuable points.           

Moseley 12 (Tries: Caves (30), Thomas (54). Con: Thomas.     

Waterloo 20 (Tries: Palmer (14), Payne (70). Cons: Monro 2. Pens: Monro 2 (23, 41).     

Waterloo picked up a valuable win at fellow strugglers Moseley.        

The visitors were ahead after 14 minutes when flanker Dan Palmer touched down and Anders Monro converted for 7-0 and added a penalty goal on 23 minutes to make it 10-0.

On the half hour mark Moseley were back in the game with hooker Adam Caves going over and Ollie Thomas converted to send them in three points down at the break.

Monro put over a penalty goal in the opening minute of the second half to make it 13-7.

On 54 minutes it was a one point game after Thomas went over for a try and could not add the conversion to give his side the lead.   

The visitors wrapped up the win on 70 minutes when captain and centre Freeman Payne touched down and Monro converted.

Earth Titans 32 (Tries: Bornman (5), Penalty try (20), Claassens (47), Blackwood (60), Smith (80). Cons: Steenson 2. Pen: Steenson (77).   

Newbury 15 (Pens: Walsh 5 (1, 14, 32, 37, 71).     

Earth Titans were home winners over Newbury out scoring them five tries to nil.

The visitors were ahead in the opening minute when Tim Walsh put over a penalty goal. The lead lasted four minutes before No 8 Jannie Bornman went over for the games opening try and a 5-3 lead. Walsh responded on 14 minutes for the visitors with his second penalty goal. Six minutes later and the Titans were back on front with the referee awarding them a penalty try and Gareth Steenson converted.

Walsh kept the visitors in it with two more penalty goals to make it 12 all after 37 minutes and they took that score into the half time break.

Seven minutes into the second half and the Titans got their third try through left wing Ernst Claassens to lead 17-12. On the hour mark they secured the four try bonus point with scrum half Jamie Blackwood going over to make it 22-12.

Walsh closed the gap to seven points with a fifth penalty goal on 71 minutes but Steenson responded with one for the home side. They wrapped up the win in injury time when right wing Showan Smith went over for a try and Steenson converted.             

Sedgley Park 8 (Try: Briers (14). Pen: Jones (44).     

Exeter Chiefs 22 (Tries: Fatialofa (20), Baxter (54), Miller (68). Cons: Yapp 2. Pen: Yapp (26).       

Park took the lead when centre Chris Briers went over for a try in the 14^th minute and a 5-0 lead. Six minutes later and the Chiefs were in front with centre Mark Fatialofa going over and Tony Yapp converted for 7-5 and then added a penalty goal five minutes later and went in 10-5 ahead at half time.         

Phil Jones pulled three points back four minutes into the second half to make it 10-8.

10 minutes later the Chiefs were over for their second try as No 8 Richard Baxter went over the Park try line and Yapp converted for 17-8. They wrapped up the win on 68 minutes when replacement back row Alan Miller went over and they led 22-8 which was the final score.

Leeds Tykes 14 (Tries: Schusterman (14), Rawlinson (25). Cons: Hinton 2.   

Nottingham 8 (Try: Fisilau (5). Pen: Van Eyk (56).     

Leeds Tykes moved back to the top of National One after this home win over Plymouth Albion.

It was Albion who took the lead when centre Keni Fisilau went over for a try on five minutes and they led 5-0.        

Nine minutes later and Leeds were ahead after flanker Martin Schusterman went over and Leigh Hinton converted. They doubled their score 11 minutes later when hooker Rob Rawlinson went over for a try and Hinton again converted and the Tykes took a 14-5 lead into half time.

In the second half the only score was a penalty goal for Albion from Regardt Van Eyk on 56 minutes.

Nottingham 55 (Tries: Brennan (19), Rouse (25), Loney (29), Hall (37), Dodge (43), Raven (50), Logan (54), Kay (67). Cons: Barlow 5, Stenhouse. Pen: Barlow (13).      

Pertemps Bees 19 (Tries: Goodridge (4), Fowkes (52), Nuthall (76). Cons: B Davies, Higgins.      

It was the Pertemps Bees who took the lead in this match when Full back Jon Goodridge went over for his 9^th try of the season and with Brad Davies converting they were 7-0 ahead.

Tm Barlwo pulled three points back for the home side before scrum half Kevin Brennan went over and Barlow converted for 10-7. 

Three more tries before half time saw the home side go into a winning 29-7 lead with the forwards scoring all three of the tries, the front row pair of Alex Loney and Nigel Hall and second row Nic Rouse and Barlow put over a couple of conversions.        

Two more tries in the opening 10 minutes of the second half saw Nottingham go even further ahead as centre Alex Dodge and second row Sam Raven touched down and Barlow converted them both to make it 43-7.

After this both sides got a couple of tries as Nottingham ran out comfortable winners.

Cornish Pirates 16 (Try: Cattle (67). Con: Di Bernardo. Pens: Di Bernardo 3 (43, 50, 70).   

Coventry 15 (Tries: K Johnson 2 (3, 58). Con: Russell. Pen: Russell (26).     

The Pirates dug this result out late on after trailing 15-6 going into the final quarter.

Coventry were in front after just three minutes when right wing Kurt Johnson went over for a try and Ben Russell added the conversion and made it 10-0 on 26 minutes with a penalty goal in what was the final score of the half. 

In the second half Alberto Di Bernardo put over a couple of early penalty goals to make it 10-6 after 50 minutes.

On 58 minutes Johnson completed a double and Coventry were 15-6 ahead.

On 67 minutes the Pirates got a vital try through scrum half Gavin Cattle and DI Bernardo converted. to make it 15-13.

The winning score came from Di Bernardo on 70 minutes to take the win and they are six points behind leaders Leeds Tykes.
