Rotherham embark on their cup journey tomorrow with the visit of Plymouth Albion to Clifton Lane, kick off 2pm. The Powergen Cup 3rd round gives Albion the chance to revenge their only defeat of the season so far. That being the 24-18 reverse at Clifton Lane two weeks ago. Changes have been made to both sides from the starting 15 that ran out 2 weeks ago. For Rotherham in comes Sweeney at full back for Elliott. In the forwards Latham makes his first start of the season for the injured Olckers. Goulding starts at tight head for Noon who is carrying a slight injury and Pendlebury starts in the 2nd row for Maslanyk who hasn’t let anyone down this season.

Plymouth bring in Gelderbloom at outside centre, Fabian on the wing, Martens at scrum half and Pearl replaces the irrepressible Dawe’s at Hooker.

It promises to be another close encounter and if Rotherham are intent on progressing in the competition, they will need to be at their best to overcome a strong Plymouth outfit. A good cup run will give the Laners a much needed financial boost and who knows – maybe another visit to Twickenham.
