Pertemps Bees are hoping to see the return of four of their influential players for the important last home game of the season this Saturday against Plymouth Albion (3pm kick off)
Scrum half Paul Knight, centre Mike Davies and locks Ed Orgee and Rob Walton are due to have fitness tests to see if they will be able to play for Plymouth who are currently a place behind the Bees in the league table.
Paul Knight, Mike Davies and Ed Orgee were all injured in the Bees semi-final game against premiership team Newcastle Falcons in March and have been out ever since. Meanwhile Rob Walton injured his ankle ligament and had to sit out of the Manchester fixture last weekend.
There is a good chance of return for Rob Walton and Mike Davies for the game against Plymouth that could affect where the Bees finish this season. However, it is less certain for the Bees captain, Ed Orgee and Paul Knight who both have cracked ribs. Director of Rugby Phil Maynard commented “They are recovering quicker than they expected and they are both in our provisional plans for Plymouth, but at this stage I would only rate their chances of playing at 50-50,"
