Pertemps Bees coach Phil Maynard has revealed that the loss of forwards coach Bob Harknett is a real set-back to his plans for next season.

Pertemps Bees coach Phil Maynard has revealed that the loss of forwards coach Bob Harknett is a real set-back to his plans for next season.

Harknett has decided to resign owing to increasing work commitments, and Maynard said "It's a big blow because Bob and Mark [Wilson] have put in a lot of hard work on the training pitch"

He added "Bob is going to be a very hard man to replace"

Bob was instrumental in achieving a 4th place finish in The Bees' greatest season so far, getting to the Powergen Cup Semi Final and maintaining top place for a large part of the season early on.

Everyone connected with The Bee Hive would like to thank Bob for all his hard work with the Bees and all the best in whatever he chooses to do with the free time.
