Pertemps Bees will be without full-back Dave Knight when they take on Llandovery and Pontypridd on their pre-season tour of South Wales this weekend.
Knight damaged knee ligaments in last weekend's victory over Moseley and he is expected to be sidlelined for between two and three weeks. He will miss the final warm-up match against Newcastle Falcons at Kingston Park on August 28 but is expected to be fit to face Henley in the opening National One game of the season on September 4.
Fly-half Mark Woodrow is set to make his first appearance of the season in South Wales having missed the wins over Moseley and Stourbridge because of a thigh injury.
With the exception of Knight Pertemps bees have named a full strength squad of 35 for the games at Llandovery on Friday evening 7.30pm) and Pontypridd on Sunday August 22 (2.30pm).
The squad includes former Rugby Lions and Coventry winger Roman Pitrowski who has been on trial for the past month and who played against both Stourbridge and Moseley.
