Hurrell signs for Bees

Pertemps Bees have signed former Leicester and Rugby Lions lock Rob Hurrell from Coventry. Hurrell, who had two spells with Coventry before he was released at the end of last season, has trained with Pertemps Bees throughout the summer.

He played for Pertemps Bees in their pre-season friendly victories over Stourbridge last week and against Moseley yesterday and has now been signed as cover for former Wales Under-21 lock Alex Davidson.

Davidson is unlikely to play before Christmas having undergone surgery on a shoulder injury which he sustained at the end of last season.
